Return & Refund Policy

Thank you for shopping with Vleissentraal Brands. We want you to love your purchase — but if you’re not completely satisfied, we’re here to help. This Return & Refund Policy applies to purchases of clothing and accessories (caps, hats, belts, etc.).

1. Returns — Timeframe & Conditions

You have 7 calendar days from the date you receive your order to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, items must meet all of the following:

  • Unused and unworn, in the same condition as received.
  • All original tags, labels, and packaging intact.
  • Proof of purchase (order number or receipt) provided.

Non-returnable items include:

  • Gift cards and vouchers.
  • Items marked “Final Sale” or “Clearance”.
  • Underwear, swimwear, or earrings (for hygiene reasons).
  • Customized or personalised items (unless faulty).

If the product is defective or incorrect due to our error, we will cover return shipping costs and provide a replacement or a full refund.

2. Exchanges

We offer exchanges for:

  • Different sizes of the same product.
  • Defective or damaged items.

Exchanges are subject to stock availability. If the requested item is not available, we will offer a refund or store credit. To request an exchange, contact us within 7 days of delivery.

3. Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you by email about the status of your refund. If approved, refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days and credited to your original method of payment.

Notes:

  • Shipping fees are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error (defect/incorrect item).
  • If you used a promotional discount, the refund will reflect the actual amount paid after the discount.

4. Return Shipping

If you return an item for personal reasons (e.g., wrong size, changed your mind), you are responsible for the return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable courier — we cannot guarantee receipt without tracking.

If the item is faulty or we sent the wrong product, we will provide a prepaid return label or arrange collection at our cost.

5. Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery by emailing ludwigt@vleissentraal.co.za and include:

  • Your order number.
  • Photos of the item and packaging showing the damage or defect.
  • A short description of the issue.

We will assess the issue and arrange a replacement or full refund promptly.

6. Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven’t received your refund within 10 business days:

  1. Check your bank or card account again.
  2. Contact your credit card company or bank — processing times may vary.
  3. If you still haven’t received it, contact us at ludwigt@vleissentraal.co.za.

7. Consumer Rights & Compliance

This policy is provided in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) and the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act (ECTA) of South Africa. Customers are entitled to return goods that are defective, unsafe, or not as described within 6 months of purchase.

Include photos if the item is damaged or faulty.
